Parker is on track to be ready for Week 1 after undergoing foot surgery in June. He’ll bring a big boost to an already strong receiver group in Miami, joining Greg Jennings, Kenny Stills, and Jarvis Landry.
The Dolphins also removed safety Don Jones from the PUP list on Wednesday. Neither are expected to practice just yet, but it does allow both Jones and Parker to participate in team activities.
On Monday, head coach Joe Philbin told reporters that he remains optimistic that Parker will be able to play in a preseason game at some point. Removing him from the PUP list is the first step towards that happening.
