Drew: Advised not to address incident

Running back Maurice Jones-Drew isn't talking about his role in an alleged bar fight over Memorial Day weekend.

Jones-Drew answered questions for 15 minutes on Monday, a day before a mandatory, three-day minicamp, but declined to offer any details about what happened at a St. Augustine restaurant/bar last month. Jones-Drew has not been charged with any crime.

He says: ''Obviously, it's an ongoing investigation. I've been advised not to talk about it. It's an unfortunate situation. Through my career, I've tried to stay out of the media in that light - as a distraction to this team.''

Jones-Drew, back in Jacksonville after working out in Miami the last two weeks, is still recovering from foot surgery. He is running and losing weight and expects to be ready for training camp.
