Matt Ryan says there's 'no reason' the Falcons can't make the playoffs

The Atlanta Falcons have a new head coach, quite a few new players and a whole different level of excitement heading into the 2015 season. For Matt Ryan, that adds up to plenty of confidence, and for good reason. According to Vaughn McClure of ESPN, Ryan believes the Falcons should be able to get back into the playoffs this coming season.

"Ryan was asked Tuesday if there is reason to be hopeful about a return to the playoffs this season." McClure explained.

"Absolutely," Ryan told ESPN following Day 1 of mandatory minicamp. "There's absolutely no reason we can't get it done. We feel like that in the locker room, that we've just got to get better every day just on daily improvement and then go cut in loose when the season rolls around. But there's absolutely no reason."

Confidence is key, and Ryan seems to be feeling good heading into 2015. With playmakers all over the offensive side of the ball and a Dan Quinn-coached defense, it's not hard to see why he's excited. Let the excitement for the new season officially begin.
