Martellus Bennett rips his ex-Bears teammates, calls them a 'bunch of [expletives]'

Martellus Bennett spent three years with the Bears and never won more than eight games in a season while in Chicago. But the current Patriots tight end hasn’t been shy about sharing his feeling regarding his time with the Bears.

He continued to do so in an ESPN profile on “E:60”, ripping his former teammates.

“We just had a bunch of [expletives] on the roster,” Bennett said, according to CBS Chicago. “That’s why we didn’t win games, and coaches liked the [expletives].”

And of course he had some choice words about Jay Cutler.

“Some guys that you want to be the leader; that’s not the guy that’s a leader,” Bennett said. “Everyone in the locker room knows that this is not the leader, but this is what you want the face of the team to look like.”

Bennett has moved on to New England, where he has 21 catches for 314 yards and four touchdowns this season. But it appears he will never forget his stint in Chicago.
