Report: Seahawks don't anticipate Lynch attending mandatory minicamp

The defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks do not expect star running back Marshawn Lynch to attend next week's mandatory minicamp, Yahoo Sports reports.

Lynch, who is entering the third year of a four-year deal, is reportedly unhappy with his current contract, which will pay him a base salary of $5 million this year and $5.5 million next year.

The four-time Pro Bowl running back hasn't attended any of the team's voluntary offseason activities and skipped the team's trip to the White House.

Lynch, who is entering the eighth year of his NFL career, ran for 1,257 yards and 12 touchdowns last season and helped the Seahawks win the franchise'€™s first Super Bowl title.
