Ravens kicker says he can make an 84-yard field goal

Former Broncos kicker Matt Prater holds the record for the longest field goal in NFL history at 64 yards, made in 2013 in the high altitude in Denver. That's not even close to the maximum distance NFL kickers can reach, though, according to Baltimore's Justin Tucker.

Tucker, who has a career long of 61 yards, said Thursday that in absolutely perfect weather at Mile High, he could convert from his own 26-yard line.

Tucker said in 2014 that he made a 74-yarder while warming up in Denver, and we've seen college kickers boot 80-yarders before (although not in a game).

The real question is how often could Tucker succeed from 85 yards, and would he be reliable enough to keep his team from throwing a Hail Mary instead?
