If you stayed up late to watch to watch Monday night's 49ers-Rams game on TV, you're probably not feeling too great about that decision, considering the game was pretty atrocious. But at least if you listened to the game on the radio, you caught one of the greatest play-by-play calls of a fan running onto the field ever.
Westwood One's Kevin Harlan was clearly itching to inject some life into the MNF snoozer when a fan hopped over the wall and ran onto the field of play in the fourth quarter. Sensing an opportunity to liven up the broadcast a bit, Harlan was all over it.
The result was one of the funniest calls you'll ever hear.
I'm usually not a fan of idiots disrupting play by running onto the field during sporting contests, but if any game has ever needed this moment — and this legendary play call — it was the Week 1 finale. So thank you, idiot fan, and thank you, Kevin Harlan.
