Keenan Lewis, Kenny Vaccaro sound off on Junior Galette's release

While it was a bit shocking to Saints players when they found out Junior Galette was released, apparently there weren't all bad things to say about Galette. According to Joel A. Erickson of The New Orleans Advocate, both Keenan Lewis and Kenny Vaccaro had positive things to say about the pass rusher.

“You know, that’s a guy who I think is a good guy. Probably made a couple of bad decisions lately, but I don’t want people to judge him,” Lewis told The Advocate. “Give him a chance, give him an opportunity. Wish the best for him. Don’t talk down on him and say this guy’s that. Like they say, don’t ever judge a book from the first two pages. Always read the middle.”

Then came Vaccaro:

“I really didn’t follow all the stuff closely,” Vaccaro said. “Junior’s a great player, he played his heart out every game. It’s unfortunate that we can’t have him, because he’s a great pass rusher.”

The good news here is that, as Erickson reports, both feel confident that the Saints have the talent to replace Galette's production. It's going to be an interesting 2015 season to say the least, and we'll be seeing a new-look Saints roster.
