Chiefs fans, players show support for Eric Berry

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 1:12 p.m. ET

Eric Berry has a tough battle ahead of him, but he won't face it alone. The Kansas City Chiefs safety will miss the rest of the season after it was revealed last Monday he could have lymphoma. In a show of solidarity for their teammate, Chiefs players wore custom-made "Berry Strong" T-shirts before Sunday night's game against the Denver Broncos.

They also wore helmet decals to honor their teammate, whose first question after his diagnosis was if he could play against the Broncos.

The Chiefs players weren't the only ones to show Berry some love, as fans of both teams filled Arrowhead Stadium with homemade signs paying tribute to the All-Pro safety.
