Julius Thomas scoffs at fantasy experts

Published Jul. 15, 2015 2:07 p.m. ET

New Jaguars tight end Julius Thomas arrives in Jacksonville after two 12-touchdown seasons with the Denver Broncos. Thomas parlayed that productivity into a five-year, $46 million dollar free-agent deal, but some doubts remain whether the 27-year-old will have similar success playing outside of Denver's high-powered offense and without Peyton Manning as his quarterback.

Included among those skeptics, a number of ESPN's fantasy football experts, who picked Thomas as tight end "bust" for the upcoming season.

Thomas took to Twitter to issue his response.

Whether Thomas will be able to match the numbers from his days in Denver is unclear, but he certainly seems to have plenty of motivation heading into the season.
