Jets fans buy 'Tom Shady' billboards in New Jersey
By Larry Brown
New York Jets fans sure are having fun with the whole Deflategate controversy surrounding their rivals.
A group of Jets fans bought ads on 12 electronic billboards that will run throughout the state of New Jersey to mock New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady with the words, “Tom Shady.”
Just in case people could not figure out who was responsible for the signs, the billboards are shaded in green and white and have the Jets chant, “J-E-T-S Jets! Jets! Jets!” at the bottom.
The billboards are a response to Brady essentially being found by the NFL to be guilty of cheating by deflating footballs.
Sometimes fans create billboards to ask for a change with their favorite team, but it’s always so much better when used to talk crap.
