Jaguars sit 3 starters, Johnson active for Titans

Titans running back Chris Johnson is active against
Jacksonville, while the battered Jaguars are sitting three starters
against Tennessee.

Jacksonville deactivated right tackle Guy Whimper, defensive end
Matt Roth and safety Dwight Lowery. Cameron Bradfield is getting
his second career start at right tackle, while Leger Douzable
starts for Roth. Akwasi Owusu-Ansah is starting at safety for
Lowery. The Jaguars have placed 23 players on injured reserve this
season, an NFL high.

The Titans deactivated newly signed fullback Quinn Johnson along
with linebacker Gerald McRath (left knee/ankle), center Kevin
Matthews, defensive end William Hayes, defensive tackle Zach
Clayton and offensive tackle Byron Stingily.

The Jaguars also deactivated Dan LeFevour, running back Deji
Karim, cornerback Robert McClain and receiver Cecil Shorts.
