Jags CB House comes up huge in win over Baltimore

Entering Sunday's win over the Baltimore, Jacksonville's defensive backs had failed to intercept a pass in the team's first eight games of the season.

Thanks to a superb second half from cornerback Davon House, that streak is over.

House intercepted a pair of Joe Flacco third-quarter passes in the Jaguars' 22-20 victory.

“I really don’t understand why they keep throwing my way like that,” House said, per the Florida Times-Union.

The five-year veteran, who has bounced back from being benched against the Buffalo Bills Oct. 25, had two pass break-ups, in addition to the two interceptions.

“There’s one thing I do really good and that’s defend the deep ball,” House said. “If teams keep doing it, I’ll keep getting my hands on them.”

House's two interceptions left him for the team lead with linebacker Paul Posluszny.

As well as he played, House said he could've done more.

"This was one of the better games in my career,” House said. “But, there were four or five plays I could’ve done a better job on. I should’ve had three picks.”
