Is Todd Gurley the answer for Arizona Cardinals at running back?

There has been a lot speculation about what the Cardinals will do in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft.

Revenge of the Birds has answered a lot of that speculation at least in terms of who the draft experts are selecting.

They have looked at 20 mock drafts and Gurley is the name that comes up most often.

It is no secret that the Cardinals are looking for a RB to potentially take over for Andre Ellington who struggled to stay healthy in 2014. But is Gurley the best back in the 2015 draft class?

Gurley was an absolute stud at Georgia until he tore his ACL his senior year. If not for the injury this pick would be a no brainier at No. 24, but the Cardinals are built to win now.

Can they afford to not have their first round pick available to them for an undetermined amount of games.

His knee did check out fine at the Combine, but you never know how a player is going to react after that first initial hit.

It would be a risky selection, but one that could pay dividends down the road.
