Colts' Vontae Davis, Mike Adams headed to the Pro Bowl

The Indianapolis Colts will be represented in the Pro Bowl after all.

The team announced cornerback Vontae Davis and safety Mike Adams have been selected as replacements for the Jan. 31 game in Hawaii after being shut out during the initial voting.

Davis replaces Denver Broncos cornerback Chris Harris, Jr., whose team advanced to the Super Bowl with Sunday's 22-20 win over the New England Patriots on Sunday. Davis recored 48 tackles and four interceptions in 16 starts for the Colts in 2015 and finished 11th in the NFL with 16 passes defensed. This will the second straight Pro Bowl appearance for the seven-year veteran.

Adams will fill in for injured Seattle Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor. The 34-year-old had five interceptions and forced three fumbles in 13 games this season. Like Davis, Adams will be appearing in the Pro Bowl for the second consecutive year.

The additions of Davis and Adams to the Pro Bowl roster mark the 18th straight season the Colts have had at least one player in the NFL's annual all-star game. No Colts were selected to the initial roster announced on Dec. 22.
