Texans at Colts Preview by Kevin Bowen, Colts.com

For the sixth straight season the Colts/Texans contest in Indianapolis takes place in the final month of the season.

Those sneaky NFL schedule makers believe Colts/Texans is a matchup worthy of late-season drama.

Such a statement has never been truer with these teams getting together Sunday afternoon inside of Lucas Oil Stadium.

Sunday’s stakes are so high for a couple of reasons.

The first being the final quarter of the NFL season begins with three AFC South teams tied atop the division at 6-6 (Colts, Texans and Titans).

This is a solid preview from the other side. There is no doubt that this will be a hugely important game and that the fact it comes so late is another treat, teams can’t ask for more than the chance to win their division late in the year.

Hopkins not concerned about dip in numbers by Sarah Barshop, ESPN

The summer after Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins’ breakout 2015 season — 111 catches for 1,521 yards and 11 touchdowns — he sat out the first day of training camp to show the Texans he was serious about wanting a new contract.

He didn’t get it and returned to camp a day later. A few weeks prior, Hopkins had told ESPN, “I just want to be treated for what I’m worth.”

This article makes some good points–the first being that Osweiler is terrible at throwing the ball downfield, one of the least accurate in the NFL in that area. I still would want to keep Hopkins here because he is still a superstar caliber player.
