Texans WR Shorts expects to be back in the lineup against Bengals
After missing two games with a hamstring injury, Houston Texans wide receiver Cecil Shorts said he'll be back in the lineup for Monday night's game against the undefeated Cincinnati Bengals.
Shorts was hurt in Houston's Oct. 18 win over Jacksonville and missed the team's next two games against Miami and Tennessee.
The veteran wideout returned to practice on Monday, following the team's bye last week.
“I felt good, I felt really good," Shorts said, per the Houston Chronicle. "The best feeling is being out there with the guys. It’s tough not being out there, watching everybody else playing, knowing you can contribute and play your role and help.”
Shorts is third on the Texans with 26 receptions for 299 yards and touchdown in five games this season.
