Falcons lose potential starting lineman Lamar Holmes to broken foot

The Atlanta Falcons are looking to fill a spot or two on the offensive line, but now there's one less person to fill that void, at least for the time being. According to Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk, Lamar Holmes will miss an indefinite period of time due to a broken foot.

"Falcons coach Dan Quinn announced Wednesday that tackle Lamar Holmes suffered a broken foot and that he’ll be out of action for an indefinite period of time while he recovers from the injury." Alper explained.

He continued by pointing out that Holmes would have been fighting for a starting job with Ryan Schraeder and Tyler Polumbus. It's an unfortunate piece of news, but we're wishing Holmes a speedy recovery with hopes that he can get back onto the field soon.
