Ex-Patriots LB Jerod Mayo has become an 'office linebacker' with a regular job
CBS Boston's Toucher & Rich caught up with former New England Patriots linebacker Jerod Mayo on Wednesday in Mayo's first season out of football. The Patriots' first-round pick in 2008, Mayo caught the injury bug in 2013 and spent two seasons on the injured reserve, first with a pectoral tear and then with a torn patellar tendon, before calling it a career last February.

They radio hosts joked that he's a real life "office linebacker" like those popular "Terry Tate" commercials where former professional football player Lester Speight enforced office law through intimidation and powerful blindside tackles.
