The Giants had high hopes for the 2013 season. Those have flown out the window after the first four weeks, and Kansas City’s Dexter McCluster delivered the dagger Sunday.
After a mediocre showing on offense, the Giants were forced to punt in the third quarter. McCluster fielded the punt at the Kansas City 11-yard line and made eight defenders miss as he cruised into the end zone with an 89-yard punt return.
McCluster was also a factor in the Chiefs’ passing game, as he nabbed five receptions for 48 yards in the 31-7 win.
He also poured on the salsa — poking fun at Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz’s trademark celebration — after the score.
