A busy day of free-agent signings for the Detroit Lions continued Thursday with the addition of free safety Glover Quin.

The team announced that Quin will be leaving the Houston Texans for a five-year contract with the Lions.

Quin, 27, started every game for Houston the past three seasons. He finished with 84 tackles, 14 passes defensed and two interceptions for the Texans in 2012.

Quin is expected to take the starting spot of Louis Delmas, whose free-agent departure is considered imminent.

The Lions also added two free agents -- running back Reggie Bush (Miami) and defensive lineman Jason Jones (Seattle) – as well as re-signed cornerback Chris Houston earlier in the day.
