Deflategate won't hurt Tom Brady according to HOF voters

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has been under a microscope since the Deflategate scandal began after the Patriots beat the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship Game in January.

As a result of the allegations, Brady's legacy has come under fire. Where does the alleged cheating put him among the greatest NFL quarterbacks of all time? Will it affect his ability to be nominated to the Pro Football Hall of Fame once he decides to retire?

It doesn't seem like it according to Richard Deitsch of SI.com who polled a group of Hall of Fame voters that included Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Jason Cole of Bleacher Report, Bob Glauber of Newsday, Rick Gosselin of the Dallas Morning News, Ira Kaufman of the Tampa Tribune, Jim Trotter and Mike Sando of ESPN and Charean Williams of the Fort Worth Star-telegram.

All of them were confident in the fact that Brady's legacy will not be harmed by deflategate. It could be some time until the final ruling on deflategate comes out but when it does, Brady will still have a bust waiting for him in Canton.
