Dallas Cowboys: Dak Prescott Passes Tom Brady for New NFL Record
Dallas Cowboys rookie quarterback Dak Prescott just broke an NFL record held by all-time great Tom Brady
The record holder to start an NFL career with the most pass attempts without an interception no longer belongs to New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. The new record came on what was the 163rd attempt of his career of Dallas Cowboys rookie quarterback Dak Prescott Sunday against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.
On the attempt, Prescott passed the future Hall-of-Famer Brady with a completion to Terrance Williams in the first quarter. The completion went for 15 yards.

In the first half on Sunday, Prescott is 12-of-18 for 166 yards and two touchdowns, with those going to Cole Beasley and Brice Butler.
Fellow rookie and Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz is third on the list with 134 attempts before he threw his first interception of his career. Hall of Fame quarterback Warren Moon is fourth at 131.
Prescott followed up setting a new NFL record by tossing two scores in the first half.

Earlier this year, Prescott, who is making his sixth NFL start, set the rookie record for the most pass attempts without an interception.
Prescott was a fourth-round selection by the Cowboys in this year’s draft. He has been on the field this season due to injuries to quarterbacks Tony Romo and Kellen Moore in the preseason. Since becoming the starter, Prescott has left no doubt whatsoever he’s earned his spot as the starting quarterback for the Cowboys.
Entering Sunday’s game against the Packers, Prescott had completed 69 percent of his passes (107-of-155) for 1,239 yards. He had four touchdown passes before the start of the NFC game.
