Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson made it official on Thursday.

Robert Griffin III is back as the team’s starting quarterback.

“I kind of got with our coaches, watched practice, went through more detail, watched more practice, went back and watched his first game and thought it would be best to go in that direction,” Jackson said. “He gives us a chance to win. Any decision I am making is for that locker room. Right now, it gives us the best opportunity to play well but also see him. That is part of it, too, but hopefully to give us a chance to go out and play better on offense.”

Griffin will presumably remain the starter until the end of the season or until he suffers yet another injury – whichever comes first.
