Joe Haden details how the Cavs' title motivates the Browns to follow suit

The Cavaliers brought a long-awaited championship back to Cleveland on Sunday night, topping the Golden State Warriors in Game 7 of the NBA Finals. It was a storybook ending to LeBron James' season and the phenomenal series he had, and brought overwhelming joy to the city of Cleveland.

With the championship, Cleveland ended the longest active title drought in major American sports. The Cavaliers were always the most likely team to win a title in Cleveland, with the Browns and Indians struggling to win in their respective sports.

The Browns are a quarterback-less mess, but cornerback Joe Haden believes the Cavs' championship will provide some much-needed inspiration for Cleveland's NFL team. He penned a first-person piece for the MMQB on Monday, sharing his thoughts on the title, and what it will do for the Browns.

Haden tried to explain what James and the Cavaliers have done for the city, and how the Browns will try to do the same.

Haden admits "it gets frustrating" being an athlete in Cleveland, enduring losing season after losing season. With that, though, it makes victories that much more rewarding. Haden watched the game in downtown Cleveland where fans were going ballistic. The city hasn't experienced this kind of success in more than 50 years.

Haden is going to learn from the Cavaliers' incredible run and apply it to his game.

"So the Curse is dead. The Cavaliers are champs. Now we've got to work like LeBron and the Cavs to get ours. This is motivation for our city, and motivation for our team. I am just so ready to go win a championship right now."
