Cleveland Browns vs. New York Jets: How to watch, listen to the game

The Cleveland Browns are still looking for their first win of 2016. Here’s how you can watch or listen to today’s attempt against the New York Jets.

The Cleveland Browns will finally be back at home today to face the New York Jets in a battle of two teams that have combined for two wins on the season.

Unfortunately for the Browns they have not contributed to that total as after seven weeks they remain the NFL’s only team without a win.

One of the more unpleasant aspects of that 0-7 start has been the play of the defense, which has given up 28 or more points in five consecutive games, and in six of seven games overall this season.

At their current pace, the Browns will finish the season having surrendered 473 points — the highest single-season total since 1990 and the most in a 16-game season.

Defensive coordinator Ray Horton says it is not a lack of playmakers, but rather a lack of making plays.

“When you look, we make enough solid plays — we just need to make more,” Horton said on Friday. “If we can just be fundamentally sound in what we do, we will get better. They are working very hard to do what we ask them to do. It is our job to get them in position to do it and then just take over.

“If we will just continue to do what we are doing… We see signs of it. We just want to be more consistent on defense.”
