The free agent wide receiver market won't look the same without Alshon Jeffery at the top.

The Chicago Bears expect to have wide receiver Alshon Jeffery in uniform next season and beyond.

Bears general manager Ryan Pace spoke Wednesday from the NFL Combine and confirmed that the team has plans to retain the impending free agent wide receiver.

Jeffery has 252 receptions, 3,728 receiving yards and 24 touchdowns over his first four seasons with the Bears, and Pace gets the sense that the feeling is mutual between both sides.

Jeffery, 25, dealt with injuries that limited him to just nine games in 2015, but he still managed 54 receptions for 807 yards and four touchdowns. It's no surprise that the Bears want to build around him.
