Chargers at Colts Live Stream: Watch NFL Online
The San Diego Chargers face the Indianapolis Colts Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday. Here’s all of the info you need to watch.
At 0-2, the Indianapolis Colts simply need a win here to get back on track. However, the 1-1 San Diego Chargers are going to represent an extremely tough test for the team.
The Colts’ offense has been solid this season, with quarterback Andrew Luck seeming to get his career back on track. That being said, they cannot run the ball and their defense is one of the worst in the entire NFL.
Both teams have struggled with injuries, but the Chargers missing wide receiver Keenan Allen and now running back Danny Woodhead is huge. Led by Philip Rivers, the Chargers have done an incredible job of coping with their losses, but it is not easy. Can Rivers continue to perform well, as he is likely to be without star tight end Antonio Gates? Or will the injuries start to catch up to him? Honestly, I do not think the Colts can stop the Chargers regardless.
According to the Football Outsiders defensive DVOA stat, the Colts have the second-least efficient defense in all of football. They are equally awful against both the run and the pass, ranking 31st in the league in both categories. Simply put, whether it is Rivers through the air or Melvin Gordon on the ground, the Chargers should be able to move the ball at will against the Colts on Sunday.
This game will come down to whether Luck and company can keep up. The Chargers are awful against the run (league worst in DVOA), but their pass defense is above average. Unfortunately for Indianapolis, they have not shown the ability to run the ball with any sort of consistency. Their strength in the passing attack is also the strength of the Chargers’ defense. Luck certainly has the ability to make plays against the Chargers, but it will not be easy.
CBS will televise this game live. However there is an online streaming option as well. To watch online, you must have a paid DirecTV NFL Sunday Ticket or NFL Sunday Ticket TV subscription. With that NFL Sunday Ticket subscription, you will get access to all NFL games during the 2016 regular season.
