One of the best defensive players in the 2015 draft didn’t come in the top 15 picks. In fact, he wasn’t even drafted in the first round. Buffalo Bills cornerback Ronald Darby was taken in the second round and has turned into a gem after just one season.
Darby was fifth in the league with 21 passes defensed to go along with two interceptions as a rookie, adding 68 tackles, as well. He paired with Stephon Gilmore to give the Bills a dynamic duo at cornerback, and a pair that should thrive so long as Gilmore remains in Buffalo.
Darby was honored for his great season when he was named to the All-Rookie team by the Pro Football Writers of America on Tuesday.
