Buccaneers vs Seahawks: Preview, Where to Watch and Listen

The Buccaneers (5-5) are right in the thick of things late in November, but if they want to head into December with a record above .500, they will need a big upset this Sunday. The Seahawks (7-2-1) are coming to town for a 4:05 kickoff. Here, we preview the matchup and tell you where to watch and listen to it.

Last Sunday, the Buccaneers went to Arrowhead Stadium and upset the Kansas City Chiefs. The win was a big one for Tampa Bay, but this week brings another big test. The Seattle Seahawks come to Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, looking to further strengthen their lead in the NFC West.

In last week’s victory over the Chiefs, Jameis Winston threw for 331 yards and a touchdown. But, the biggest reasons for the Tampa Bay win were its defense and rookie kicker Roberto Aguayo. Chris Conte came up with a momentum-swinging interception in the fourth quarter, while Aguayo connected on four field goals. Tampa Bay’s defense played admirably, but it will need to step up again this week against a better offense.

Seattle is coming off of a 26-15 win over Philadelphia in which Russell Wilson threw for 272 yards and a touchdown. The Seahawks’ defense forced two Carson Wentz interceptions, with Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor each coming away with one.

Injury-wise, the Bucs are better off than they have been. Luke Stocker, Kevin Pamphile, Jacquizz Rodgers… Brent Grimes… The Seahawks, however, are struggling with injuries ……..

These two teams last met in week nine of the 2013 season. The Bucs, 0-7 at the time, held a 21-0 lead before falling 24-21 in overtime. Mike James rushed for 158 yards on 28 carries, while Seattle’s Doug Baldwin caught six passes for 75 yards and a score.

Where to Watch

The broadcast of Sunday’s 4:05 matchup will be picked up by Fox. Kenny Albert will carry the play-by-play, Daryl Johnston will have analysis and Laura Okmin will have reports from the sideline.

Where to Listen

As usual, the Bucs’ flagship station (103.5 FM or 620 AM) will have the game in the Tampa Bay area. Play-by-play man Gene Deckerhoff will of course be joined by former Buc Dave Moore, while T.J.
