Brock Osweiler throws interception in first series with the Texans

Brock Osweiler was given a boatload of money by the Houston Texans this offseason – $72 million to be exact. His first game with a new squad didn’t get of to a great start, though.

It took just three pass attempts for Osweiler to throw his first interception of the season as he was picked off by Chicago Bears quarterback Tracy Porter.

Osweiler was targeting his best receiver in DeAndre Hopkins, but even Nuk couldn’t come down with this one. It was a terrible decision by the former Broncos quarterback, who was trying to do too much.

The Bears turned the interception into points, driving down the field for a touchdown by Jeremy Langford. Osweiler would get on track and complete eight of his first 10 passes for 40 yards.
