Brian Bosworth is hyped up for the Seahawks
The Boz is jacked and pumped.
Brian Bosworth showed support for his former team via Twitter on Saturday. The former Seattle Seahawks linebacker tweeted a photo of himself rocking a throwback 'Hawks jersey, while declaring that he still supports the organization 25 years after his retirement.
Bosworth, who was drafted first overall in the 1987 NFL Supplemental Draft, played three seasons with the Seahawks from 1987 to 1989. He mostly was known for his polarizing personality and wacky haircuts, and he never lived up to the hype generated by his illustrious college career at Oklahoma. Bosworth's NFL career was cut short by a shoulder injury after just 24 games.
It's worth noting that Bosworth is sporting a No. 44 jersey in Saturday's Twitter photo. Bosworth wore No. 44 in college, but initially was forced to wear No. 55 in the NFL because linebackers weren't allowed to wear numbers in the 40s. Bosworth sued the NFL for the right to wear No. 44.
