Watch Bill Belichick draw up a play from his father's 1959 Navy playbook

In the lead up to the annual Army-Navy game on Saturday, New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick sat down with former Navy running back Joe Bellino, the 1960 Heisman Trophy winner, to talk football and some X's and O's.

Belichick is connected to Navy because his father Steve coached at the United States Naval Academy, where he became a highly respected and astute scout who authored "Football Scouting Methods." Another book, "The Education of a Coach" by David Halberstram, documents how a young Bill began to learn the fundamentals of football and how to break down game film while hanging around his father and other Navy staffers.

During the interview, Belichick was asked to draw up a "Joe Bellino" play and without hesitation he sketched a "27 F-Trap" that Bellino immediately recognized as well. Check out the pretty cool walk down memory lane:
