Bengals' Burfict fined $25,000 for twisting ankles vs. Panthers (VIDEO)

Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict was fined $25,000 for twisting the ankles of Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton and tight end Greg Olsen in Sunday's tie, FOX Sports 1 NFL Insider Mike Garafolo and other media report.

Burfict, who was not penalized on either play, was caught on camera grabbing and appearing to twist both players' ankles on separate tackles. Newton and Olsen both reacted at the time of the incidents and Panthers head coach Ron Rivera vowed to send video evidence of Burfict's actions to the league office.

Newton and Olsen were already recovering from ankle injuries. Newton had offseason ankle surgery, and Olsen sprained his ankle against the Chicago Bears and missed two practices last week.
