Suggs to be 'game-time' decision

Published Dec. 5, 2012 12:00 a.m. ET

Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs hopes a torn right biceps won't keep him out of Sunday's game against Washington. He says his status won't be determined for sure until late in the week.

Suggs was hurt last Sunday in the fourth quarter of a 23-20 loss to Pittsburgh. Before practice Wednesday, Suggs said, ''We got to see how it goes. We kind of live by the creed of, if you can breathe, then you can play.''

He says his availability will be ''a game-time decision.''

Another injured Ravens linebacker, Ray Lewis, returned to practice Wednesday - the latest step in his attempt to come back from a tore right triceps. Lewis was hurt Oct. 14 against Dallas.

Lewis will not play for Baltimore (9-3) against the Redskins (6-6).
