Roddy White says he feels the Falcons got complacent after 5-0 start

When a team starts 5-0, then goes 1-5 after that, there are obviously going to be plenty of questions going around. Well, according to D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Roddy White has an answer or two.

When speaking about the current issues the Atlanta Falcons are dealing with, he said a lack of energy has nothing to do with it. Instead, he believes the Falcons just got a bit complacent.

“The guys are practicing hard and playing hard and we have energy,” White told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “None of that is a problem. It’s just our sense of urgency on the offensive side of the ball, I just don’t feel it.

“From being 5-0, I felt like we got a little complacent.”

While that does make quite a bit of sense, it's something that's going to need to be fixed immediately. The Falcons are still right in the mix for a Wild Card spot at 6-5, but they have to find a way to get a win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 13.
