After a stellar performance during the Atlanta Falcons Week 16 victory over the Carolina Panthers, Julio Jones has now broken his own franchise record. Jones caught nine balls for 178 yards and a touchdown, meaning that his current 1,722 yards are the most ever in franchise history.

Via Curtis Jackson, the Atlanta Falcons Football Communications Coordinator:

The previous record by Jones was his 1,544 yards back in 2014. While the Falcons may not be postseason bound in 2015, Jones has put together the type of year that absolutely deserves to go down in history.
