An Arizona man is hawking on eBay a pair of signed cleats worn by Pat Tillman, the NFL star-turned-US Army Ranger killed by friendly fire in Afghanistan in 2004, for a jaw-dropping $3.2 million.

Jerry Martin, 51, bought the shoes at a charity auction in 2001 and said he had no qualms about selling the tragic vet's shoes.

"Out of respect for the Tillman family, I didn't even put the shoes up for auction for years," Martin said. "But now I'm hoping that someone will enjoy these and cherish them as much as I do."

"You should be ashamed of yourself," a Delaware eBayer wrote him. "The fact that you are trying to profit from his story and that you think people would actually pay that makes you an idiot, and a complete (expletive)."

The highest offer so far was about $7,000, but Martin said he would not sell for under seven figures.
