Don’t expect an apology from New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie when it comes to making assumptions about his kids.

The son of tight ends coach Jimmy Johnson posted a picture of Cromartie with two of his kids on Twitter. He captioned the tweet:

“Antonio Cromartie with 2 of his 15 kids”

The tweet has since been deleted, probably because when Cromartie caught wind of it, he ripped Johnson for posting anything that has to do with his kids.

Cromartie has 10 childen, which is a lot. However, Cromartie must have not taken nicely to the fact that Johnson exaggerated how many kids he has. The size of Cromartie’s family certainly is his own business.

Johnson tweeted Cromartie back afterward with this apology:

“@CRO31 it was just a joke bro, didn’t mean anything by it”

However, Cromartie isn’t having any of Johnson’s apology, and he refuses to say that he is sorry back (via TMZ Sports):

“I’m not going to apologize for what I said in regards to my kids. You don’t take a picture of my kids and talk trash.”

“Again, you can talk about me all you want, but my kids are off limits. You just don’t play with people’s kids. His actions were unacceptable and hopefully he learned that.”

There we have it. You don’t mess with the papa bear’s babies without getting a public lashing from Cromartie.
