Andrew Luck Practices Wednesday with 'No Restrictions'
The Indianapolis Colts received some great news on Wednesday, as starting quarterback Andrew Luck had a full practice with ‘no restrictions’ and looks close to being cleared from the final stage of the league’s concussion protocol.
Specifically, Luck will now be evaluated by an independent neurologist, who will provide the final stamp of clearance for the quarterback to start Monday night against the New York Jets.

However, that looks like it should be relatively assured, as Luck once again said that he “feels great” on Wednesday.
Also still in the concussion protocol, safety Clayton Geathers was not wearing a non-contact red jersey during Wednesday’s practice, which bodes well for him soon gaining clearance as well.
The Colts received some other encouraging news as wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (back) was able to practice on Wednesday. Not to mention, starting right guard Denzelle Good (shoulder) was also expected to return to the practice field.
Otherwise, cornerback Vontae Davis (groin), outside linebacker Robert Mathis (bicep), and cornerback Patrick Robinson (groin) were all held out with injuries.
While the Colts aren’t playing a prolific passing attack in the Jets, it’s obviously not an ideal situation that the team is currently without their two starting cornerbacks. However, it’s still only the middle of the week and either/both cornerbacks could soon be back on the practice field.
