EYE CANDY

We're not just watching the field on Sunday. NFL cheerleaders provide the perfect sideshow.

First-round draft pick Tyler Eifert of Notre Dame has signed a four-year contract with the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Bengals announced the deal Monday. Eifert will get about $8.25 million overall, with a $4.3 million signing bonus. His cap number will be about $1.5 million.

The 6-foot-6, 250-pound Eifert won the John Mackey Award winner as the nation's top tight end in 2012. He was the career leader among Fighting Irish tight ends with 140 receptions. He's expected to team with veteran Jermaine Gresham to give the Bengals a strong double-tight end passing attack.

"I don't know how much it goes into OTAs as far as the coaching decisions and how similar they are to the regular season," Eifert told the Bengals' website. "But if it's any indication, I took a lot of reps. We ran a lot of two tight-end formations. As far as I know, I think I'll be able to get on the field and contribute here."

The Bengals have signed all 10 of their 2013 draft picks. They open training camp July 24.
