Titans promote Preston from practice squad

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP)

The Tennessee Titans promoted Michael Preston from the practice squad Saturday and waived center Kevin Matthews.

Preston has played four games for the Titans this season and has caught one pass for 4r yards. He appeared in four games with the Titans last year and had five receptions for 59 yards.

Preston, a 6-foot-5 receiver, originally joined the Titans as an undrafted free agent from Heidelberg College before the 2011 season.
