Saints cornerback Johnny Patrick has hurt his right leg during Sunday's regular-season opener against Washington, and had to be carted to the locker room.

The Redskins, meanwhile, have had receiver Pierre Garcon leave with a right foot injury, while Jordan Bernstine was carted off the field after hurting his right leg on kick coverage.

Patrick, who started after Jabari Greer (groin) was scratched, was hurt while breaking up Robert Griffin III's pass near the Saints' goal line. He needed help to the sideline, where trainers appeared to be examining his right knee.

Two other Saints have left the game. Receiver Devery Henderson was sidelined by a hit to the head, though he walked off the field on his own. Linebacker Scott Shanle has an unspecified leg injury.
