The biggest worry is clearly the offensive line. is playing with bad knees and they have inconsistency from the guard positions. also struggles at times against the elite speed rushers.


They have questions along the front four in terms of inexperience, but rookie and have been flashing a lot of skills. Rookie will force his way into a pass rush role if he gets healthy early enough in the season. and has progressed into young impact players at linebacker. They must have more consistency from the secondary. If puts everything together, he'll create a lot of turnovers.

Special Teams

Expect more production and scoring opportunities in the return game. and can score anytime the ball is in his hands. The hope for more efficiency from his coverage units.


Bill Callahan did a solid job in his first season as head coach. The players respect him and he has good organizational skills. But he'll need to add some twists to the offense that Jon Gruden doesn't know about.

The Bottom Line

There are two directions the could go this season. The Super Bowl loss still must linger in their heads, but this is such a hungry group of veterans. They could be determined enough to get back there again due to the blend of young talent around them. But they could also age quickly and succumb to injuries.
