Baltimore Ravens middle linebacker Ray Lewis was placed on the inactive list for Thursday night's game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Lewis has an injured foot. He also missed last week's game against Cincinnati, ending a streak of 57 straight games played.

Baltimore also placed cornerback Chris Carr and linebackers Dannell Ellerbe and Sergio Kindle on the inactive list, along with defensive tackle Arthur Jones and running back Anthony Allen.

San Francisco placed guards Daniel Kilgore and Mike Person on the inactive list, along with wide receiver Brett Swain, fullback Bruce Miller, quarterback Scott Tolzien, cornerback Shawntae Spencer and nose tackle Ian Williams.
