Tennessee receiver Kenny Britt is inactive for Sunday's game in Houston with an injured left ankle.

Britt was hopeful he would be ready to play, but he sat out practice all week. Britt caught six passes for 55 yards before hurting his ankle in the fourth quarter against Detroit last week.

Linebacker Colin McCarthy (right ankle), quarterback Rusty Smith, running back Jamie Harper, tackle Mike Otto, guard Deuce Lutui and defensive tackle DaJohn Harris are also inactive for Tennessee.

Houston backup receiver Lestar Jean is inactive for Houston following arthroscopic surgery on his left knee this week. Jean had a 46-yard reception in Denver last weekend.
