Report: Bieber, Ozzy film Super Bowl ad
Squeaky-clean teen pop star Justin Bieber has teamed up with controversial heavy metal veteran Ozzy Osbourne to film a commercial for next month’s Super Bowl, The Hollywood Reporter reported Thursday.
Bieber, 16, joined the 62-year-old rocker — known as the Prince of Darkness — and his 58-year-old wife, an “America’s Got Talent” judge, to film the commercial for consumer electronics retailer Best Buy earlier this month in Los Angeles.
The advertisement will air Feb. 6 and is the first Super Bowl commercial for Best Buy.
Drew Panayiotou, marketing chief for Best Buy, told USA Today: "Justin Bieber is the biggest star out there, but that's not why he's in the spot. He symbolically represents something important to the brand message."
The news of the advertisement comes after Osbourne admitted in a Fuse TV interview last December that he did not know Bieber.
"Who the f*** is Justin Bieber?" the British rocker said when asked if he listened to the Canadian singer's music.
