The famous boxer, known for making (and tweeting) some of his big-money bets, reportedly made the wager with the M Resort. However, Mike Colbert, Cantor Gaming sports book director at the resort, would not confirm or deny the rumblings, telling the Journal-Review that he wasn't allowed to comment on who bets. Mayweather Jr. is scheduled to report to jail on Jan. 6 to serve a 90-day sentence in jail after pleading guilty to reduced battery domestic violence and harassment charges before a Las Vegas judge.
The 34-year-old Mayweather also must complete 100 hours of community service and pay a $2,500 fine.
The plea deal avoids trial on felony allegations that he hit his ex-girlfriend and threatened two of their children during an argument at her home in September 2010.
