    Hoosier pride

I was with my brothers and my Dad and a couple of friends to watch the NCAA championship game vs. Maryland. It was very exciting seeing them out on the floor for the final game, and my heart goes out to those guys. I wish they would have won it, you know? There's nothing more we can do — they played their hearts out, and that's that. I wasn't on campus for the game, but what I hear, it was a crazy scene. My friends and roommates said people were out in the streets and everything. It was unreal, and it's been like that after every game, and it got more exciting with every game they advanced. I'm so happy for Coach Davis. He's come a long way, from when everyone was counting him out and giving him no chance to succeed. He believed in himself and in God, and that God would work it out. God showed him favor, and got him and the Hoosiers to that championship game.

Ready and waiting for the big day

I've been running a lot of routes this past week, catching the ball, lifting, and getting on the treadmill. I haven't worked out for any teams recently, which is kinda good at this point. It gives me some time to sit back and relax a bit. I've just been enjoying life, with my family and that kinda thing. I'm definitely antsy now, with the draft looming so quickly. That's the biggest thing right now, just waiting on that draft. I've got 15 days left now, so I'll be right in front of that big-screen TV at my mom and dad's house with my family in Chicago. Most of the teams I've talked to have been interested in me playing wide receiver, punt return, kickoff return, and second- or third-string quarterback. And I have no problems with that. That's what I want to do. If I'm given a shot to play quarterback, then I'll do that too. I'm fully open basically at this point; I'm willing to do whatever it takes to help the team that drafts me win.

    Family time

I'm going to basically be laying low and working out over this next week. At this point that's all I do — eat, work out, sleep, go to church and stuff like that. I like to hang out with my little brother, 'cause he's on spring break right now too. I've been spending a lot of time with my family late, hanging out with my brothers and having a great time. Family time has been great for me, because most all I can do at this point is wait for the big day.
