The Indianapolis Colts have signed free agent receiver Kris Adams and waived outside linebacker Kevin Eagan.

Adams, a UTEP alum, was undrafted coming out of college but spent most of last season on the practice squads of Chicago, St. Louis and Minnesota. The Vikings, who signed Adams on Dec. 14, re-signed the 6-foot-3, 194-pound receiver in January, but released him May 14.

Adams finished his college career ranked in the Miners' top five for TD receptions (30), yards per catch (18.5), yards receiving (2,657) and 100-yard games (10). He was seventh on UTEP's career receptions list (144).

Eagan joined the Colts on April 30 as an undrafted rookie out of Endicott College.
